Description
An input validation issue in the Okta Access Gateway (OAG) Admin Console allows the processing of specially formatted configuration values. An authenticated administrator can leverage this to execute system commands within the context of the OAG service account.
Affected product and versions
Customers using Okta Access Gateway appliance versions prior to 2026.10.2 are affected.
Preconditions
An authenticated user has administrative access to the Okta Access Gateway Admin Console.
Customer Recommendations
To remediate this vulnerability, upgrade the Okta Access Gateway appliance to version 2026.10.2 or greater.
Resolution
The vulnerability is present in Okta Access Gateway versions prior to 2026.10.2 and is resolved in version 2026.10.2.
